Mark your calendar to join us for this fun event benefiting Donner Summit Avy Dogs on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Please join CMH Heli-skiing California Rep, Anne Trott and Sugar Bowl National Ski Patrol to celebrate the approach of ski season with some powder skiing stoke and an opportunity to win some great raffle prizes with all funds raised going towards the Donner Summit Avalanche Dogs.

Interested in volunteer ski patrol at Sugar Bowl Mountain Resort? This event provides an excellent opportunity to meet experienced patrollers and have your queries answered.

The event will take place at Donner Ski Ranch, Old 40 Bar & Grill. There will be a raffle with prizes including a CMH duffle roller bag, Avy Dog merch and other awesome ski swag.

If you’ve always wanted to heli-ski, now’s your opportunity to learn more and experience heli-skiing in virtual reality. We’ll be showing the first-ever, high-definition, virtual reality heli-ski experience on the latest Meta Quest 2 goggles.

RSVPs are required and space is limited.

$10 suggested donation at the door. First one hundred guests receive a drink ticket.

CMH Heli-skiing and Summer Adventures has been safely guiding guests through life-changing experiences in the mountains for over 55 years. With 11 lodges located throughout British Columbia, winter trips range from Powder Intros for first time heli-skiers to expert, steep terrain for the experienced adventurers. In the summer, CMH guides guests hiking in the backcountry, along via ferratas and waterfalls, the only way to experience British Columbia in the summer without the crowds.

Donner Summit Avalanche Dogs: a non-profit organization made up of avalanche professionals that are proud to serve Donner Summit and surrounding areas. as members of the National Ski Patrol, NSP, we serve the Sugar Bowl Mountain Resort. Since it’s creation in 1938, in the early days of recreational skiing in the United States, NSP has followed it’s creed of “Service and Safety”. Today, the organization comprises more than 26,000 members serving over 600 patrols.
