Event featured slideshow presentation of the Great Himalayan Trail.

Justin Lichter, a Sugar Bowl Ski Patroller, has hiked over 35,000 miles all over the world. In the spring of 2011 he began yet another trek, this time traversing the Himalaya Mountain Range. Starting from the eastern Nepal border and finishing three months later at the India/Pakistan border, Justin averaged 20-30 miles per day and covered about 2,500 miles.

Known as the “The Great Himalaya Trail,“ this network of trails is in its infancy and covers classic treks including the Kanchenjunga base camp, Everest / Gokyo, Langtang, Annapurna Circuit and Manaslu base camps. Add to all of that hundreds of miles of wild and remote hiking beyond the tourist routes. http://thegreathimalayatrail.org/

Join Justin for an evening slide show of his journey across the Himalaya Mountain Range and discover tips, advice, and insights from an accomplished adventure traveler. Justin will have his new book“Trail Tested” available for purchase.
