2022-2023 Family Ski and Summer Share Alpine Meadows

We are seeking another family or two to round out our 2023 ski and summer house roster starting this fall and running for 12 months at Alpine Meadows. We are a collegial group of professional families who love to bike, run, and ski. Most members return from year to year.

For a family of 4 annual fee is $9500, all inclusive, including a cleaning service, all utilities, snow removal shoveling, and the best available Wi-Fi the Alpine Meadows area has to offer.
Your share entitles you to use the house all year without restriction, generally 2 visits per month, but that is not a hard and fast rule. If your kids are in an every-weekend ski program, there is a higher rate, as that usage is greater than most house members.
The general rule is no guests, with limited exceptions upon request.
You can leave outerwear, ski boots and skis at the house. If you have other clothes you want to leave, we ask that you leave them in bins at the house.
There is a calendar where you can sign up for rooms. We reserve the right to move people around to make sure that rooms are distributed equitably. You will always get a room, but it might not be the same room. Your kids can sleep with you, in an extra room if available, or in the bunk room. I usually check room assignments on Fridays before busy weekends to make sure everyone is situated.
We try to cook and to eat together when we are up at the house. We have a big dining room table, and we like to cook.
The kids in the house often ski together, as do adults. Kids range in age from 6 and up.
Summers are pretty quiet. Busy times are the winter holidays, MLK, President’s Day, and powder weekends.
We have been doing a fair amount of backcountry touring from the house, and you can ski back to the house via Lakeview Chair, which we often do as a group.
There is a free, door-to-door shuttle up to Alpine, which will connect with Tahoe Palisades by lift this year.
Pets are welcome. $500/year per dog. No smoking in the house.
