North Lake Tahoe Ski Lease with Hot Tub – COVID Responsible

We have a few membership spots available in our ski lease group for the 2020/2021 winter season.

About us

We’re a group of skiers and snowboarders in our late 20’s and early 30’s who spend most of our time either at Squaw / Alpine or in the backcountry in North Lake Tahoe. We are a mix of lawyers, engineers, researchers, and business owners who work during the week to make time to ski on the weekends. Although most people come up for the weekends, you’re also welcome to come up during the week if you’re available or if there’s a decent storm coming. We have people of various skiing abilities (both on the resort and in the backcountry) so you’ll always be able to find someone to get out skiing with. Although we’re all fairly serious skiers, we’ll all usually meet up after the end of the day for casual drinks at the house/resort, hot tubbing, or meeting for dinner.

We’re limiting our group to fewer people this season to keep more space in the house to be conscious of COVID. There should never be any issues with any members having their own bed on the weekends. We do allow guests with a small guest fee, but we will most likely be capping the number of guests at the house at a time to try and limit the number of people at the house. We all commute from the Bay Area and we always carpool when possible if someone ever needs a ride.

Ski lease dates & cost

Our lease this year starts on January 2 and runs through May 2

We have the house for the full duration of these dates, so you’re able to come and go whenever you feel or are available. The price for this year will be $1550 per person, plus a security deposit of ~$150 per person which we have returned at the end of the season.

The total amount of guest fees will also be divided among all members at the end of the season for additional money back. Since we’re limiting the number of people on the lease this year, it’s unfortunately a bit more than past years, but we’re hoping it will make for a safer and more spacious house due to the circumstances.

Ski lease location

The house is in Carnelian Bay, just north of Tahoe City and about 15 minutes to Alpine Meadows and 20 minutes to Squaw Valley.

About the house

It’s a fairly spacious house with plenty of room for parking. We have our own private hot tub as well which is great after long days. The neighborhood is great and very friendly. We have high speed internet for working from the house. We have monthly cleaners, a washer and dryer, and a wood fireplace.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds, and a pull out.
