North Lake Tahoe Truckee Weekends Only Ski Lease Share

House with fun, courteous members very close to I-80, no steep and busy Tahoe Donner Northwoods Hill to deal with, 1.5 mile from old town Truckee; if you are in shape you can ski or snowshoe there and back.

Apres ski, enjoy hot, 45 jet 7 person hot tub to relax those muscles after a big powder day and enjoy an adult beverage. The house has an amazing dining area great for gourmet dinners and sipping wine with your friends and family, gourmet kitchen that is very well equipped and stocked with kitchen aid appliances, henkel knives, cephlon professional cookware, etc.

Two refrigerators to keep your food and beverages cold; good cell service, fast wireless internet, new solid wood doors to keep the house quite. We are usually in bed 10-12pm and up early especially on a powder day, a ton of parking on a flat sunny driveway. Lots of light, 1 wood burning stove with a pile of wood to burn to sit and watch and sip your hot toddy with after skiing/snowboarding/snow shoeing, a gas wood stove in the kitchen/dining area that you just flip on, so you can sit and sip your coffee before going out to the hill and be toasty. Almost out the door snowshoeing/ cross country skiing. (300 foot walks on quiet road) on a nice flat sunny golf course.

Our house is available to Memorial day (most years) and a quick drive to Palisades Tahoe.

The house is a mix of 30-60 year olds, who ski/snowboard throughout the north shore.

People usually do breakfast as they get up and we put together a big ad hoc dinner on Saturday night that most contributes towards cooking together. 3-4 times a year someone organize a big dinner ie. Surf and Turf. Italian theme, Mexican theme. Left overs on Sunday night.

We have some good cooks and are always looking for more. On the big weekends we cross country skied and stayed away from the resorts. The group is predominantly High tech.

The ride-share starts in San Jose and SF and generally meets at near the Bart in Oakland on Friday night and carpools up. This occasionally happens on Thursday also.

This house has snow cleared from the walks, hot-tub and driveway, so when you get up here at a late hour you do not have to shovel for 2 hours. If you have been in a house up here you know about the occasional Friday night long drive because of snow and then arriving at the house and the there is a huge burm and 3 feet of snow in the driveway; this does not happen here. The last removal is generally done at 10:30 pm. The driveway is large and flat. The heat is on for you when arrive also. We’re looking to add courteous, and thoughtful ski share members; all members need to participate in the cleaning of the house when you come up and snow removal.

Cost

-Full share $1495.00

OR

– Half share available at $925.00.

The half share A-weekends 1/3-5/2025, 1/17-20(MLK), 2/7-9, 2/21-23, 3/7-9, 3/21-23, 4/4-6, 4/18-20.

The B weekends are the opposite.

The house is open weekends from Palisades projected opening day (around 11/10/2024 to 11/22/2024) and after Easter Sunday. Meaning both A and B shares are can come with out a guest fee. The other half shares are opposite weekend.

The house is separately rented from mid December until after early January as a separate rental, meaning you don’t have access during that time.. This is a weekend share house which means the ski share can not be your full time residence. Also, we are not looking for mid week members.

Please plan on being here on the weekends, not during the week.
