2024-25 Truckee Mountain Ranch – Tahoe Donner Ski Lease Share

We have room for a few more families, couples or singles to join us for the 2024/2025 ski season. Join us and stay in our beautiful home for entire season from December 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.
Our house has a “shared but comfortable” model – approximately 6-8 members with a blend of families, couples and singles, which worked great for us last year. We use a shared model without dedicated bedrooms. We will also have some weekday only members at lower prices.
This awesome 3300 square feet house, on 25 private acres, has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. 1 king master with ensuite bath, 1 Queen suite with bath, and 2 rooms with shared bath, one office with two twins and a big open loft with three twins for kid overflow. Kids will share the loft area or stay in your room with blow-ups when it’s busy. We also have a game room with TV, ping pong, quality electric piano and games. There is no TV in the main room. We have a wood burning stove that works really well and creates a great environment. The house has a deck for sleds, wood and winter grilling. We have 1 car garage and unlimited parking on the driveway. The house has three desks in three separate areas if you want to work while here – one with a printer/scanner. We also should have the ability to switch to generator if we lose power.
The house has a fully equipped granite/stainless kitchen with several full sets of dishes, silverware, knives, cooking, baking, roasting gear, small appliances for coffee food processor, toaster oven & toaster plus oven and gas cooktop. My favorite is the instant hot water dispenser. There is, of course, a nice washer and dryer in a laundry room.
So far we have several fun, professional, recreational ski families with kids from 7-15 y.o. Mostly doing Ikon at Alpine/Palisades. We don’t allow pets.
Guest Policy:
$35/guest (4+ years) per weekend day and $25/guest (4+ years) weekday
Amenities:
Tahoe Donner has amazing amenities but it costs per person per day to use them: lap pool, jacuzzis, steam room, large gym, classes, sledding hill as well as the downhill and cross country facilities. There is a deli and restaurant within 5 minutes and La Bamba Mexican is 7 minutes away.
4 Wheel drive highly recommended as we have a long but gently sloping driveway and private road – all plowed daily but on those heaviest of heavy storms – access can be tricky.
Cost:
$5500 (for family of four), $4000 (for couple) and $3000 (for individual). Kids have an option to stay their own bedroom when they are not used by members otherwise they are in the loft, office or even TV room (very comfortable giant couch).
In addition costs will be split by the adult members – utilities, consumable supplies, snow plow service, Internet, jacuzzi service, cleaning as needed and a final move-out cleaning.
December 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025 minus Christmas/NY and one other offpeak week, but the group has first right of refusal to rent for those holiday periods if desired.
The house has now had lamps, nightstands, and quite a few other things added since the above photos were taken.
