Join our Well Established 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Dog-Friendly Ski Lease Share at Donner Lake

January 4 – May 30, 2027

Join our 11th year Donner Lake (West End Beach) ski lease – prime location, huge flat parking lot, huge fireplace, and great company of mature skiers/boarders/backcountry people. We welcome PETS and their owners for MID-WEEK and FULL-Week membership. Pricing starts at: $1900 per person for the entire season, plus a partially refundable utility/cleaning deposit. Great house with many members returning from past years.

MID-WEEK MEMBER: (Sunday 4pm to Friday 11am):  $1900 for individuals or $2900 for a couple

FULL-WEEK Member: – $2200 for individuals, and $4000 for a couple (sharing a bed)

The Chalet:

The Location:
+ Across from Donner Lake West End beach
+ Four doors down – West End Pub for dinner or a hot toddie.
+ 10-minute drive to Sugarbowl & Donner Ski Ranch; 20-30 minutes to Northstar, Squaw
& Alpine. Truckee commercial center 10 minutes by car.
+ Forgot one thing for your perfect dinner? There are 2 small convenience stores within 5
minutes.
+ Easier commute compared to other Tahoe locations- only 3 miles to Hwy 80.
+ Bypass Truckee’s chain control and traffic by exiting the 80 at Donner Pass Road.
+ Half a block to Donner Pass Road, a main road that is town-maintained and plowed
often.
+ Donner State Park’s gorgeous walking, snow shoeing and xc skiing options are at the
other end of the lake, just 3 miles.

Easier commute compared to other Tahoe locations- only 3 miles to Hwy 80. Bypass Truckee’s chain control and traffic by exiting the 80 at Donner Pass Road. Half block to Donner Pass Road, a main road that is town-maintained and plowed often. Donner State Park’s gorgeous walking, snowshoeing, backcountry, uphill skiing and cross-country skiing options are at the other end of the lake, just 3 miles.

Beds/Rooms Reservations Calendar:

Number of people: ~17 members & guests max per night (members first, of course)
The lease will run for 5+ months, from January 4 through May 31, 2027

Membership FEE & Utility deposit:

MID-WEEK MEMBER: (Sunday 4pm to Friday 11am):  $1900 for individuals or $2900 for a
couple
Utility + security deposit: $320 +200/per person (couples $620+200)
Weekends – welcome to come (with a guest fee), if space is available.

FULL-WEEK Member: – $2200 for individuals, and $4000 for a couple (sharing bed)
(save $100 if you come in as a couple or group of friends). 5 days / 4 nights max per stay.
Utility + security deposit: $320 +200/per person (couples $620+200)

Utility Deposits:
$320 ($620 couples) This Utilities deposit is partially refundable based on available surplus. It
covers water, gas, garbage and recycling, internet, snow removal, 1 cord of wood, and cleaning
– all combined at the end of the season and divided evenly between members.
$200 damage deposit is fully refundable unless your dog eats a couch.

$150 pet fee – non-refundable (goes towards a $2000 carpet cleaning at the end of
the season)

Guests & Guest Fee Payments:

* $50/$40 weekend/mid-week per person per night (all of guest fees offsetting supplies
and season-end cleaning)
* No guests at the house without member hosts (this means if you leave you for the guest
needs to come with you)
* Members record the guest(s) on the calendar and pay for the guest(s) *before* you
arrive via Venmo/Zelle

Most importantly –  our people!
– Bay Area professionals in late-20s to 50s. Avid ski/board/back-country people (not really a party house, but with very fun group)

PETS: 
Well-behaved, non-barking, non-aggressive dogs are welcome – 10-35Lbs is ideal, we found. MUST be able to handle being left unsupervised at the house for a ski day (crate?) OR must visit a dog daycare.
Note: Priority is given to 4 (maximum 5 couples) AND groups of friends.

a lease.
Step 2: We will WhatsApp you and then call you for a quick 15-minute intro.
Step 3: If we all feel it’s a good match – you will sign the lease agreement and pay a security
Deposit $200 (This will guarantee your spot for the season), or pay Full amount (latest – by
December 1, 2026) and come on January 4 to ski!

We are also looking for SHOULDER SEASON TENANTS (WEEKLY/MONTHLY) – remote workers, startups, or just people who want to experience Truckee, when its nice and quiet!
FROM NOW – December 20, 2026 – $3,900/month or $1000/week
FROM JUNE 1, 2027 – December 20, 2027 – $4,200/month
