Complete our Alpine Ski Lease – We have a private Cal King bedroom still available in our Alpine Meadows Ski Lease house share!

Rent a room for the ski season – room comes fully furnished, including linens:
– 1 room with a cal king bed, chair, dresser, closet a slider to the deck – occupancy 2 people
– the room is on the ground floor, and shares a full bathroom across the hall on the same floor with another room (leased by a family of 4)
– Common areas include an upstairs Great Room with fully-appointed kitchen,1/2 bath, and loft playroom. A mudroom, office nook, and laundry room are downstairs. Outside there is an upstairs and downstairs deck, with seating and BBQ.
– Off-street parking for 3-4 cars (no street parking is allowed after November)

Duration: Dec 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 (blackout Dec. 27-Jan 4 AND Feb. 14-22)

What you get:
– A private room assigned to you for use for the season
– A closet and dresser in your room to store your personal items/ clothes
– Ski storage in the mudroom/ utility room
– Shelf space in the kitchen pantry for your food

About the house:
Newly remodeled (in 2024) 4 BR / 3.5 BA Alpine Meadows home that backs up to Bear Creek. Old Tahoe charm, with all the modern comforts and amenities of a brand-new home. About 2500sq feet of space kept cozy by a wood-burning stove and hydronic baseboards, plus heated floors in the bathrooms and mudroom. A chef’s kitchen, stocked game cabinet, full linens, and a mudroom for stashing your snow gear. Located just over a mile from the Alpine ticket office and on the Mountaineer shuttle route, we are well-situated for fun on the slopes without parking hassle or needing to fight traffic. About us:
Two families of 4 from the East Bay Area are looking to lease out one more room. Kids range from 8-12 (3 boys and a girl), adults from mid 40s to early 50s. A mellow shepherd mix comes with the house (but no other furbabies are allowed - this is firm, please don't ask for exceptions). We like to cook, play board games, have lively discussion, play outside, and SKI! Typically the house is quiet by 10pm and folks are up and out to the slopes early due to ski team and ski patrol. We're an energetic, kind, largely unplugged, and drama-free group.

Price:
$9000 base rent for the 5-month ski season for a private room
- Utilities are included in the lease rent (gas, electric, internet, water, trash) NOTE: no cable, no included streaming services.

Services are split 3 ways: housekeeping every 3 weeks, winter plow service for the driveway = $1050 per leaser/ room

Payment:
A single upfront payment of $10,050 is fine, or can be remitted in 2 installments: $5050 due upfront to secure the lease for the season, $5000 due by February 15. Payments are not refundable; pro-rating or partial season use is not available. $2000 security deposit due by Dec. 1, to be refunded at the end of the lease, minus any mutually noted damage.
