Carnelian Bay ski lease, 1 block to lake & Garwoods, Dec 15 – April 15 w/ no blackout dates
Easy access to Palisades & Northstar, plus 1 block from the lake and Garwoods!
**The house:**
Newly remodeled 3 bed / 2.5 bath with attached garage, roof deck with lake views, in-unit laundry, pool & ping pong table, and a brand new hot tub (we hope — working on it now!). Four more cars can fit in the driveway with coordination.
Room configurations:
– Bedroom 1: 1 king bed with it’s own bathroom
– Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed, shared bathroom
– Bedroom 3: Bunk bed w/ queen on bottom, double on top, shared bathroom
– Additional sleeping options:
– Single cot (it’s pretty comfy!) that can be used in bedroom 1
– 2x double sleeping pads (they’re also pretty comfy!) that can be used anywhere
**Remote work setup:**
The house is ideal for remote work! We just ask that you don’t stay more than 2 consecutive weeks without prior approval from other members to ensure everyone has equal access to the house.
– There will be a desk in each room.
– We have Spectrum high-speed internet, with Starlink as failover internet, and backup power to maintain internet connectivity for 4+ hours even if there is a power outage. (This might not prevent *all* outages, but should be able to handle most storms.)
**The crew:**
We are looking for 4 more people to join our ski lease, for a total of 8 people. We are in our 30s and mostly queer, but those aren’t requirements to join at all!
We like to keep it chill during the week as many people will be working, and enjoy socializing on weekends.
**The details:**
– Dates: Dec 15 – April 15, with an option to extend if the season runs later
– Cost: $800 per month plus split utilities
– What’s included: high speed internet, snow removal, trash, basics for the house like laundry detergent, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, etc
– What’s not: gas, electric, water (we’ll split this evenly)
– Guest fee: $50 per night. We’ll put this toward utilities and redistribute any extra evenly among the group.
– Logistics:
– Ski lease members will have unlimited access to the house (we just ask that you don’t stay more than 2 consecutive weeks without clearing it with other members)
– Ski lease members get priority for beds/room selection over guests
– Give ski lease members a heads up when you plan to bring guests
– Bring your own air mattress if you’re worried there might not be a bed for your guests
**Getting to the slopes:**
The house is 1 block from a TART bus stop, or you can get a ride on demand from [TART Connect](https://tahoetruckeetransit.com/tart-connect). Both are free!
