Carnelian Bay Ski Lease Share (30s – early 40s) with Hot Tub

Hi there! We’re a group of six friends with 4 spots open in our 2026–27 ski lease in Carnelian Bay. We’ve been doing an annual ski lease for several years and always love welcoming new people! We are capping the number of folks at 10 people max, which means plenty of room to spread out as the house sleeps up to 12.

The lease:

Season: January 6 through May 5 2027 (4 months)
$3,000 per person + $700 deposit + share of utilities.
Guests are welcome but must be accompanied by a ski lease member and we charge guest fees ($50/night) which help offset a lot of the utilities.

The house

A newly remodeled 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in a quiet Carnelian Bay neighborhood, minutes from Alpine / Palisades and Northstar

Primary bedroom: king bed with ensuite bath
Two upstairs bedrooms: one queen each, with a shared full bath
Bunk suite: two queen-over-queen bunks, its own bath and TV
Flex room: twin daybed and trundle, plus a desk for remote work
Living room with vaulted ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace
Big kitchen, formal dining room, and a breakfast nook
Private outdoor hot tub on the back deck
Foosball loft
Washer/dryer
Parking: 2-car garage + 2–3 in the driveway (4–5 cars total; carpooling encouraged)

About us:

We’re a group of Bay Area professionals in our 30s and early 40s who work in law, tech, and science, and we’re a mix of skiers and snowboarders. While some of us are more on the “advanced” side of things, we have folks of all abilities. Most of us have Ikon passes and a few also have Epic, so Palisades and Alpine are our home mountains, with occasional trips to Northstar or down to Heavenly. Several of us work remotely, so the house gets midweek use from people who work during the day and ski when the snow is good.

Off the mountain, we keep things social but low-key: communal dinners, board games, movie nights, a beer by the fire, and plenty of time in the hot tub. We like a fun house, not a party house. We’re looking for friendly, like-minded, considerate people who are looking to pitch in on meals and cleanup and want to be part of the group, not just have a place to crash.

Dogs & Kids
We have one friendly dog on the lease, but unfortunately we can’t take any more dogs. While we love kids, this is an adults-only house.
