Join our Truckee weekends only ski lease with fun, courteous members.

Our ski lease is very close to I-80, no steep and busy Tahoe Donner Northwoods Hill to deal with, 1.5 mile from old town Truckee. If you are in shape you can ski or snowshoe there and back; hot, 45 jet 7 person hot tub to relax those muscles after a big day, you can drink an adult beverage there also, amazing dining area great for gourmet dinners and sipping wine with your friends and family, gourmet kitchen that is very well equipped and stocked with kitchen aid appliances, henkel knives, Cephlon professional cookware, etc. 2 refrigerators to keep your food and beverages cold. good cell service, fast wireless internet, new solid wood doors to keep the house quite, we are usually in bed 10-12 and up early especially on a powder day, a ton of parking on a flat sunny driveway.

Lots of light, 1 wood burning stove with a pile of wood to burn to sit and watch and sip your hot toddy with after skiing/snowboarding/snow shoeing, a gas wood stove in the kitchen/dining area that you just flip on, so you can sit and sip your coffee before going out to the hill and be toasty. Almost out the door snowshoeing/ cross country skiing. (300 foot walks on quiet road), this is a nice flat sunny golf course. Enjoy Palisades Tahoe until closing day; our ski lease share is accessible to most years Memorial Day.

Cost

Full share $1645.00 This is a weekend share house you can not live here full time. We are not looking for midweek members. Please plan on being here on the weekends, not during the week. There are 4 bedrooms; the house sleeps 13. There are 8 members which all are guaranteed a bed. The rest are for your guests.

The house is a mix of 30-60 year olds, who ski/snowboard throughout the north shore. People usually do breakfast as they get up, and we put together a big ad hoc dinner on Saturday night that most contribute towards. 3-4 times a year someone organizes a big dinner ie. Surf and Turf. Italian theme, Mexican theme. Leftovers on Sunday night. We have some good cooks and are always looking for more.

The group is predominantly high-tech. The driving starts in San Jose and SF and generally meets at near the Bart in Oakland on Friday night and carpools up. This occasionally happens on Thursday also. This house has its snow cleared from the walks, hot-tub and driveway, so when you get up here at a late hour you do have to shovel for 2 hours.

If you have been in a house up here you know about the occasional Friday night long drive because of snow and then arriving at the house and the there is a huge burm and 3 feet of snow in the driveway, this does not happen here. The last removal is generally done at 10:30 pm. SO there is no crazy berm when you arrive

The driveway is large and flat. The heat is on for you when arrive also. You need to be courteous, and thoughtful to others and you need to participate in the cleaning of the house when you come up and snow removal.
